Here is how it works: DEPOT allows you to optimize your cooling tower design, estimate your price, and then select the design and size of your cooling tower. The DEPOT app will meet your performance requirements - guaranteed- in just a few minutes!
Optimization:
Optimize your cooling tower design by defining the thermal requirements by inputting your desired water flow rate, water temperature, wet bulb temperature, fill and DE type etc. This first step sets the parameters for the DEPOT program to design and select the highest optimized cooling tower for your needs.
Price & Evaluate:
To design a cooling tower based on your budget, In step 2 DEPOT will help you estimate certain costs for your cooling tower over time. This includes the costs of ongoing operation of electric fan motors and electric water pumps as well as the cost of wiring/installation of control room equipment.
Design:
The Materials you select to build your cooling tower directly impact the cost, longevity, and performance optimization of your tower. In Step 3 DEPOT will allow you to choose and customize your cooling tower materials so that you may meet your
performance requirements and your budget!
Size & Select:
In this last step DEPOT will ask you to size your cooling tower. You will choose your size based on number of cells, length, width, configuration, and GPM for your tower. Now you can run the DEPOT App and DEPOT will select a series of cooling tower configurations that will fit your budget and performance requirements.
